The Eagle Nov. 7 Election
Letter by Harold Erb, Eagle, Idaho
This season has been an over-the-top exciting time for me. I’m a huge fan of going out and socializing with folks that are running for office.
The Eagle Nov. 7 election is nonpartisan.
That's why you don't see any Republican or Democrat party affiliation on campaign signs. You can verify this by Googling "Idaho Statute 50-3112”.
Idahoans vote for candidates in local elections based on the issues.
I have spoken with many of the candidates and even had a few laughs.
I have spoken with Jason Pierce and recently with Mary May.
I have lunched with Captain Marc and Christopher Hadden.
I’ve recently spoken with Stan Ridgeway and Christina Patterson.
I attended a recent Pierce, May and Kvamme meet and greet - fun and exciting.
I attended a meet and greet with Pike, Ridgeway, Captain Marc, Hadden, Imhoff and Patterson - fun and exciting.
Elections don’t happen often but when they do it’s a HOOT to participate. I listen to what the folks say and support those who keep their promises.
I feel sorry for those that can’t or won’t participate. You’re missing quite a show, better than West Wing, Yellowstone, Terminator or Titanic. 95% ‘Rotten Tomatoes’ if you know what I mean.
Here’s the thing, there is still time! I hope to see YOU at the next meet and greet, candidate forum or whatever get-together comes along.
