As per news reports, an attendant of an airline in Israel is in the state of coma after getting affected by measles. She contacted a fever on the 31st March and entered the medical facility that similar day.
The health officials from Israeli disclosed to CNN that the woman who is aged 43-year has encephalitis, or the brain inflammation, and also has been in the state of “deep coma” for the past 10 days. She is unfit to breath by herself and is put on the respirator.
The measles infection, however, most popularly understood for the telltale rash, may cause significant problems. Such problems are mostly normal in the children above the age of 5 and the adults over the age of 20, as indicated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The most widely recognized significant difficulty related to measles is pneumonia, states the CDC: Up to 1 out of 20 youngsters suffering from measles get contracted by pneumonia, and this is the most well-known death cause from the disorder.
A lot rarer is the encephalitis that influences 1 in every 1,000 youngsters suffering from measles, as per the CDC.
