Judge Brett Kavanaugh, accused of sexual misconduct is being reiterated from his support from Supreme Court nominee. President Donald Trump says that it is ‘difficult’ and ‘scary’ period for the young men in the US.
Addressing to reports on White House on Tuesday Trump daid, “My whole life I’ve heard, ‘you’re innocent until proven guilty’, but now you’re guilty until proven innocent. That’s a very, very difficult standard. It’s a very scary time for young men in America when you can be guilty of something that you may not be guilty of.”
Vote to confirm Kavanaugh has been delayed as the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) probes the claims made by several women which is denied by the judge.
Trump believes in Senate that would approve the judge. The appointment is expected to tilt America’s top court in favour of conservatives for the years to come. Reported BBC.
Southaven, Mississippi, where a rally on Tuesday was conducted, Trum mocked the week’s senate testimony by Professor Christine Blasey Ford, without mentioning her name.
Junge Kavanaugh, 53 assulted her when they were teenagers, says Ford.
Audience mocked when Trupm said, “Thirty-six years ago this happened: I had one beer! Well, you think it was
? Nope! It was one beer. That’s the only thing I remember…. And a man’s life is in tatters.”
Then Trump criticised people who were manipulating the accusers for political reasons. He said that they want to destroy the people. And these people are really evil people.
When the crowd roared; “We want Kavanaugh! We want Kavanaugh!”, Trump said that he was waiting to see what would happen if the FBI probe his top pick and he didn’t want to ‘interrupt’ in anything.
